ABOUT KANTRAIL HORTON
For over 30 years, Kantrail Horton has been involved with the game of basketball at an elite level. Starting at a young age, Kantrail realized through the game of basketball, anything and everything was possible. Through hard work, determination, and sacrifice, Kantrail was blessed to play NCAA Division I Basketball at Iowa State University. In 1999, he was a starting guard for the Cyclones, helping lead the program to the Elite-8. Upon completion of his collegiate career, Kantrail began playing European Basketball for professional leagues throughout Italy, Austria, Portugal, and New Zealand. It was during this time, Kantrail realized many individuals were missing the fundamental skills necessary to compete at the highest level.
Upon returning to the United States in 2006, Kantrail Horton decided he wanted to give back as much to the game as basketball as it gave him. He began working with young athletes, devoting countless hours to teaching the game of basketball the right way. He works hard to instill a self-motivating attitude in all athletes he works with, relaying to them the importance of sacrifice, a strong work ethic, and the vision of hard working paying off. Rather than skipping the fundamental aspects of the game such as correct shooting technique and footwork, Kantrail breaks the game down to the smallest detail level. Always demonstrating proper technique and form, Kantrail has a unique ability to connect to young individuals to allow them to understand the mental aspect of the game.
Kantrail works tirelessly on the overall mental, physical, and emotional aspect of the game, and how it impacts each and every individual.
